STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROL (SPC)
Scope:
This one day program is designed to show how to use more efficient ways to produce products that consistently meet or beat specifications.
Designed for:
Individuals who are just beginning to apply statistical process control and process operators, project leaders, quality auditors, supervisors or other personnel who are accountable for improving the quality of processes and products.

- Introduction to continual improvement and statistical process control
- Control charts for variables – various charts
- Control charts for attributes – various charts
- Process measurement systems analysis
Goals:
To provide participants with opportunities to:
- Gain a sound understanding of statistical techniques
- Gain a basic understanding of statistical terminology and concepts
- Learn how to make and use histograms, pareto charts, fishbone and scatter diagrams
- Gain a working knowledge of an R, P, C and U control chart construction and interpretation
Objectives:
Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:
- Apply statistical techniques that help reduce waste (nonconforming product)
- Use data you may already be collecting to monitor, analyze, and improve quality
- Understand control chart construction and interpretation
- Make and use histograms, pareto charts, fishbone and scatter diagrams
- Have a working knowledge of an R, P, C and U control chart construction and interpretation
